Injection Molding

What is injection molding?
Injection molding is one method of manufacturing plastic materials. This process involves in heating and melting the plastic material, transitioning it into fluid state, then injecting the plastic fluid into a high-precision tooling. The tooling typically consists of cooling gates surrounding the core, further cooling down the plastic, which will finally be solid. At last, the tooling mechanism will push the cured product out.
What are the commonly available materials? What makes TH Industries different?
Common plastic materials available are ABS, PP, PC, and TPU. TH Industries stands out from the crowd with its roots in the bicycle industry. We commonly inject engineering plastics, such as PA6+30% GF (glass fiber) and PEEK+30%GF. We also specialize in long-fiber injection molding. There is a thermoplastic material, epoxy infused with 6mm long carbon fibers, which we manufacture to help customers in needs of high-strength and high-stiffness solutions.
